Dang those early print cycles...

Good to see they're covering all the important things, such as:

- Johnny manziel being a super hero

- Boots, Purses, Banjos, and Guns.

- How I'd like to rebuild Big Tex

Epic gold.

Say what you will about Texas, but the folks at the Shag' sure know how to entertain.
Shaggy strikes again. The MS paint guy is pretty hilarious too. They are hilarious over there. Probably because there are no restrictions (cough cough HB ;) ) Anyways i wonder what will end up happening. The season is two weeks away. Most likely they will say there isn't enough evidence or some other bullsh#t. Dude should be done for the year.

Texas A&M is being extra cautious when giving fans autographs.
In a statement released Wednesday, the Aggies announced that players and coaches will not sign any memorabilia for fans attending the "Meet the Aggies" event Aug. 24.

Instead, the only autographs allowed will be on specially provided autograph cards, "in order to accommodate as many fans as possible." All other items must be left at the door.
ESPN Article

And see. That's the kicker. This spoiled, selfish little prick is ruining another fun tradition with his greediness. Pretty soon no one will be able to get autographs from anyone. Thanks Obama Manziel.

Don't forget when doves fry, whatever that means.

Its funny how many times we hear the same argument from players. It's not the point that you think they should get paid in college. The fact is that it is against the rules. Whether you think the rules should be changed doesn't justify someone breaking them.

They sound so ignorant when they say things like this.

no to mention, manziel is the *worst* poster boy when it comes to the argument that college kids should get paid.

Here's where a lot of people (not on here, but in general--especially one Jen Floyd Engel) are misguided:

The way the NCAA profits of their athletes without paying anything in compensation to those athletes is wrong. I think a lot of people agree with that statement. A lot of people would like to see at least a modest stipend for the athletes, or even an account that the athlete will receive upon his or her exit from college.

But it's still THE RULE that you can't receive any benefits for using your name, status as a college athlete. That's it. When you cross the line, you've broken the rule and you should face the consequences. You can't just break the rule because you disagree with it.

That's right. Rules are rules.

On another note, I do not agree with the stipend. I think the players should be allowed to get paid for autographs and appearances. As long as they don't use the teams logo to profit. Meaning if the NCAA/Team cant make money off of selling jerseys with their name on it then the player cant make money doing an appearance and show up wearing their jersey.
