Booster pretty much calling out Bo

No matter what the booster says.... Bo is NOT on the hot seat.

In order for the seat to heat up, he would have to go 7-5 or 6-6 in the regular season. Either of those records could result in a firing, but I even wonder about that. SE is going to be a bit shy on making a move unless he has the complete support of TO. I think Bo might get another year even after a bad year.

This being said, I am really starting to feel pretty happy about the possibilities for this season. The offense is loaded and I picked up something from Bo's talk in regard to the youth up front on defense. Maybe we will have a rotation of young bucks that are just going to attack with athletic ability. Meanwhile the veteran guys on the backside will be busy tricking QBs and eating up INTs.

This is what I am thinking might happen as well. EZ or da skers hinted that the defensive line is going to more the route of 1-gap responsibilities, simplifying the d-line's roles. This in part because the d-line is going to be young.....we have Randle and Nickens who are the only upperclassman that will be on the line, and Nickens is a newbie at the position.

I stand by my regular season prediction of 12-0 or 11-1. This team is primed to do that IMO.

I once had a guy cut in front of me in the concession line at a game. I said excuse me, lines back there. He proceeded to tell me that he "donates money to the program and he's in a hurry, bla bla bla, I'm special, youre not because I have more money than you". I said "so do I. It's called tickets" and kindly grabbed him by the back of the neck and moved him back behind my where he belonged. I'm guessin it was his first time as a donator, or he was just full of sh#t for he had this "look at me attitude". Now, in this particular article, I guess i didnt see too much to get my panties in a bunch. Just some western guy tryin to play big wig and get his name out there with some of the bigger boosters from Omaha/Lincoln I think. But it is a testament to some other boosters I've known. Some are real cool. Others act like they're just so much better than you because they are such, and frankly, I dont care if you gave a million or a nickel. And truthfully, anyone who's bought a fricken ticket to get into that stadium on gameday is a fricken booster.

And according to the people who keep the donor list he's not as high up as he tells people he is. Very similar to that plumber last year that called out Bo at the BRB. Unless they are counting money paid in for education or other branches of the University, etc. But as far as football specific money goes he's stretching the truth quite a lot.

Couldn't agree more on the one-gap D-line strategy. Simplify and attack. Plus, I am thinking Anderson and Santos are going to be VERY good this year.

No matter if anyone likes it or not, when the label "booster" is put with your name, your words carry a little more weight than the average fan. These are the people who finance much of the program and when boosters temperature changes on a subject, it affects the program.

For this reason, boosters need to choose there words extremely carefully when talking in public and to the press. It is totally different than when the average fan is asked a question walking down the street before or after a game.

I agree. Love to have their money for our programs, but like it or not, their words matter sometimes. Yes, I agree with what others have said here that he should feel free to comment as he sees fit (and nothing he said was explicitly negative), but big time boosters do need to realize that as soon as they say something people will look at it in a different manner. We could argue for days whether that's right or wrong, but it won't change the reality of the situation.

F'n right on Accountability! I am a donor (no not huge money but enough to keep my season tickets every year)! This is the type of guy (thinks his sh~t don't stink) that in the future will be calling for help with no idea how to survive when his money has no value!
