Ahhhh, looks like he is saying he wish he would have hung up on the writer because the writer started to twist it to a negative story.

 
If this guy is telling the truth, sounds like the writer is the douche in this case. Said it sounded like a negative article from the get go and should have just hung up.

 
He sounds extremely reasonable and fair so far in his analysis. I guess it's possible for someone to both be a Husker fan and critical of the program's shortcomings. Who knew?

I know it's inferring. it's opinion. Same as his. Based on the comments of his interview, it appears I'm wrong. I retract. It's happened before. It'll happen again. But I will stand on the fact that the guy couldve done best by not commenting at all.
