What a game. Had all the makings for the upset. Many factors would cause the game to sway either way. The key was capitalizing on mistakes. We made more mistakes, turning the ball over. I believe the college football gods will be shining on the huskers in a big game in the near future. It is difficult to digest this one right now, a tough loss hurts. This, sadly, is what I live for on Saturdays. :bang

I love games like this. You should have seen me with the last 2 minutes to play I was just pacing back and forth in the living room, freaking out.

I jumped up and down after that jump ball to Sweed in the endzone. I thought the ball bounced up off of Jones and Rudd intercepted it. I scared my roommate half to death he said.

After sitting here for awhile...I still want to puke. Protect the football! I am glad I didnt have to wait till midnite to see that. It will be hard enough to sleep tonight. Merry Christmas Horns.

I thought it was an interception too. The first angle they showed you couldn't see the ball hit the ground, so I thought it bounced off his body too.

I was pissed that they had another angle though :angry:

I was kind of hoping that the replay both only had that one angle, but I knew that wasn't possible.

It goes on to say that we need to keep mistakes to a minimum to upset a top 5 opponent. Mistakes especially late will bite a team in close games.
