where will we be ranked

Guys, after a game like this I have hard time thinking we will move down much at all in the next batch of rankings after such a hard fought game with Texas...Maybe 18 or 19?

Probally will depend on how teams ranked a few behind us fair. If they win, they will probally jump us. but if they lose, then we will probally be around 20.

 
Missouri, boise state, boston college, wisconsin, oklahoma(assuming a win), and the winner of the Pitt-Rutgers game will all leap us.

 
MU blew up KSU, boise is looking to win big, wisconsin won big, OU is still OU and in the minds of the media a better team than us, BC beat FSU and PItt and rutgers are getting more media love than we are. Hell, if A&M wins big over OSU(I dont think it happens) then they move up over us.

Bear in mind, the miami/duke game is getting more clips shown than our game is.

 
You make it sound like we got our asses handed to us by Texas though, which did not happen. I just don't think we will be slid down that far, just my opinion.

Has nothing to do with what I think about the game. It is just what the poll voters think, and with the minimal amount of game footage being shown, it doesnt look good for us in the polls.

 
I don't think we will drop very much...look at the other games right now.

#16 Oregon is losing to Wash St.

*18 Boise St. is barley beating Idaho

#19 Rutgers and Pitt are close

#20 OU is up on sCUm

#22 BC barely beat FSU

#23 A&M is losing to OSU

#24 Mizzou beat KSU

None of these opponents are the caliber of TX.

Exactly.

 
But it is about preception. MU wont with a large spread, and the media cant get enough of Daneil. FSU is still coaced by Bowden, and that win carries more weight than it should. If rutgers wins, they are undefeated, and I dont really have an issue with them. Boise is only 1 place behind us.

I dont want to drop that far, I dont think we deserve to drop at all. But I dont have a good feeling about what the media thinks of us.

So far most have said good things.

 
Most of what I have read goes in the direction of texas played bad, still won with the heroics of mccoy. At least from SI and Foxsports. The half time guys ive seen were just gushing over mccoy.

 
I think we are about 19th and that's hard to say because we played a very good team tough today!!!! Unfortunately from what I'm seeing all the teams ahead of us won.....and the teams behind us won.....no where to go, but down right now....Having said that I really could give a damn about the rankings because if we win the rest of our games and go to the Big 12 championship game and win.......BCS game automatically!!!! :clap
