Just pointing out a couple errors. In our favor of course.

One thing stands out to me....I watched all of those games, but I never once saw Bo Pelini turn the ball over.

I guess it's another data point about Bo's tenure. I continue to be on the fence about him.

I think he will always deliver 9+ wins

I don't think he will ever deliver a championship

So, is 9 wins and competing but not winning a championship enough to tip the scales one way or another?

If this were true, and he was incapable of winning even conference championships, he would eventually be gone.

But I don't think that's the reality of the situation. There have been a lot of extenuating circumstances surrounding this program over the last half decade, more than (possibly) any other team in America. He's getting better talent, and we saw him come within :01 of a conference championship when he had the talent, and within one healthy quarterback of a second conference championship as well.

At most schools winning 9 games every year and being competitive would be good enough. Problem is I don't think that will keep people happy here. Not saying this is right or wrong but Nebraska fans always expect to be one of the best teams in the country and 9 wins doesn't accomplish that.

Shocking revelation everyone, if you lose the turnover battle, then you will probably lose the game.

Can you really blame these on Bo?
Yep. Fully expected this is as the first post... surprised it was the 2nd post.

As far as i'm concerned... Bo was in the game carrying the ball on each of those turnovers.

What do you expect when you put Bo Pelini turnovers in big games. Bo didn't turn the ball over, the team did. Obvious agenda is obvious.

Eventually, I don't think 9 wins will be enough for the fan base. The turnovers are one of a couple major issues that have been prevalent in recent years, and as the data shows, NU loses the turnover battle significantly more times than win it in big games. Now, some of those games were certainly against better teams, but there are several games against teams of equal or lesser value where NU still loses the battle.

I think Nebraska has a standard of at least winning conference titles. If that doesn't change for Pelini soon, we could see the program go in a different direction.

Not to derail the thread too much, of course.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but the players change every year. It doesn't make sense to list the players' names. Since this is a consistent problem regardless of who's playing, coaching is obviously an important factor.
