Mack Brown is not leaving Texas, ever!!!! He may move up stairs this year, but the boy is currently responsible, read this slowly, over 1 billion dollars in willed booster endowments. He is responsible for the donations, now that does not include yearly, just when the booster dies, Texas gets the money. Big segment on it the other day on XM. I would like to see him do well enough this year to say he wanted to retire, not being forced to. He is good people I think, and I am sure all of us would have loved him if he had been a Husker. Glad the Longhorns are feeling some pain, and yes he is responsible for it. But the Texas job is different than anywhere else. He is more of a bridge between billionaire boosters and the University.

I think there's a good chance Texas loses to Mississippi this weekend. Then they have K-State, Iowa State, Oklahoma and TCU before they play Kansas. So they could very realistically be 1-6 when they play Kansas. I hope they are and can't wait to see their fans meltdown if that happens.
