Nicks has moved over to left tackle to back up Patrick, and Murtha has moved to the right side.

Nicks might get some PT this week.

 
I am anxious to see how the D line holds up after last week. I think they will have confidence from almost holding Texas to under 20 points, with a great job against the run. If they are making changes they can only be for the better. Look out for some fired up blackshirts come Saturday. :bonez

 
Patrick did have 2 false start penalties on back to back plays, maybe it is a reason for the move. Callahan's way of telling Patrick to get his sh#t together or another player is going to replace you

You know those mental mistakes bug the crap out of Callahan. Two mistakes like that can kill a drive.

Yeah that was rediculous!!!! I was cussing like a sailor on leave when he did that!!!!! :angry:

 
He is still one of the better lineman. I'm sure that master motivator Callahan is wanting to tighten up the screws for nebraska's 'Main Thing." RUN. Those two in a rows make you stand out in the film room, and not in a positive light. Plus there is a lot of untested talent behind him. Nick's was a highly sought JUCO player if I am not mistaken. :bonez

 
Did Callahan have the tackles learn both sides during fall practice? So Nicks and Murtha should both know their new positions fairly well then.

 
i think that wag's was having all of the linemen learn every position so they could be interchangeable. maybe it was the left guards learn the right and so on

Yep. Murtha and Christiansen have rotated from left to right this season to give the starters a breather.
