That Nebraska STILL controls their OWN destiny, starting with Mizzou next week. We can b!^@h about the play calling and the defense but hell, the game is over and it's a check in the loss column. Lets focus on the fact they are still tied for the north and still have 3 games left. (notice I say "they", why? Because we don't play, they do)

First of all, it's widely excepted that you call your team, "we."

Secondly, if you don't want to discuss the loss, don't click on the posts regarding this game... Yes this game is over, but that doesn't mean we all need to just forget about it and, "focus on the fact that they are tied for the North." Is focusing on that going to help the team? You said it, we don't play...

Did I say not to discuss the loss, no. and how is anything we do here help the team? Anyways, I'm not even attempting to start trouble on this board, made an observation on the season, the fact it's not over for those people who think this loss is the end of the world.

 
Yeah I'm pretty sure we totally agree here, I'm just saying there are always people that swoop down after a loss and just want to end conversations, you know what I mean?

Agreed! Just want to remind people that, no matter how ugly today's loss was, the season is still NUs for the taking!

we have a lot of players with nagging bumps and bruises that need to heal up. that is the bad thing about playing 12 games normally you have 2 bye weeks to heal up but now it is only one, right before the sCUm game.

hopefully the atmosphere alone will fire each of the players up.

Both teams will be comming of two losses and we will be at home where it seems that only texas has our #. the tigeretts will need to overcome our crowd that we all know will be there to back up and root for the Huskers.

This will be a good game and I hope our players will put these lat two losses as far out of their minds as possible
