Actually if you paid attention to how recruits view programs, you'd realize winning one game against OSU really doesn't factor in to it. That idea is frankly, retarded.

I love it when the negative nancy's step out after we lose!!!! They aren't around though when we are winning!!!! I hate the fact that we lost, but I still know that we can win the North title and have a shot at the Big 12 Championship and that's all that matters to me right now!!!! I hear ya BRI, it goes both ways, some people choose to only pump sunshine and some others only shovel sh#t.
I feel bad for the players but in reality, they are the only ones that can do anything about it. Do they man up or do they sulk in defeat. I will cheer them as best as I can to help them play the best that they can.
I Love the Huskers and will follow them through thick and thin. Just remeber everyone, how long did it take for Bob and Tom (no pun intended) to win their titles.
We got spoilled in the 90's and may never see a run like that again, but here is to OUR team The Nebraska Cornhuskers. Come back, regroup and play your best. it is all we ask.

As I see it we are improving as we recruit better and better players. In the headsets though is where we are getting schooled. We are week on both sides of the ball. Fundamentals are lacking, that's coaching. Poor tackling today is a reflection of what happens during practice. I don't think Calley is a good game day coach and Cosgrove sure frustrates me when he won't put heat on a QB when he doesn't have the DB's to cover. We've got some good players but my opinion is the headsets have embarressed us again. That won't change. Calley isn't an offensive genius. Nice guy, but no offensive genius. I saw passion in the faces of the OSU players. They beat us like drums today. Our kicker can't make the endzone and our special teams have been giving up way to much on the returns. I'm no casual Husker fan, I've got 40 years in and I'm not satisfied for lackluster seasons. Some people say we got spoiled. With an attitude like that you can look forward to the Barley got 6 wins Bowl. I like the attitude of our old Offensive lines which was DOMINATE. That wasn't just for our conference, it was for the whole USA. That is what Husker Football is all about.
We'll continue to struggle with Calley, Missouri will be a struggle, A & M most likely another whipping and Colorado will suck to high heaven and still almost beat us. Where we hurt most of all is in the headsets.
