Aim low and you'll always hit your goal

remember after the scripted plays, doesnt the offensive coordinator call the plays from the press box? or does norvell give a couple of choices and calli decides?

my bet is cally makes the call, norvell makes the suggestions.....either way, most of the 2nd half football this year has been piss poor by anyone's call

I would like to goals to be top heavy (ie win NC, if not, win XII, if not, win division), Accepting mediocrity is how NU got into this mess. Seriously the North the weakest division in college football, if they can't win it, then there are serious problems, regardless of the myopian sunshine pumping on this board

How we got into this mess was letting the coach pick is sucsessor instead of doing it the right way. Solich never figured out how to adapt to the changing landscape of college football. The year he had off enlightened him. Ohio does not run a tripple option. The offense there is much more inline with the modern game.

I guess the opposite of aiming low to hit your goals would be aiming too high so you never hit them. It's gotta be somewhere in the middle before you start aiming higher if you ask me.

I partly agree. My point is winning the North is not in the middle. This division is garbage, the fact that it is still up in the air is embarassing
