A collection of rather horrifying post-game tweets

I've never heard a single team state that they weren't prepared, weren't focused, or just weren't up for a game as many times as I've heard from this Nebraska team. It's truly pathetic.
makes me think that something else is going on.
Yeah. That even though the players love Bo as a person and friend/father figure etc, they maybe dont like playing football for him. Yes, it's very possible. These players want to win as bad as anyone, and I can guarantee you, they feel just as much pain from a loss as any of us, and you can bet their a$$ theyre having some doubts as to whether or not Bo can guide them to success. Maybe before yesterday, they were feeling good about themselves. But I'm afraid of where this team goes mindset wize after the re-insertion of an obviously hurt Taylor Martinez. (by the way, how do you think Tommy Armstrong feels about all this-god help us).

Bottom line is, as great a person Bo is, these guys dont need a friend. They need a football coach. (I know, cue the "but Tom Osborne _____________. It's not 1994 anymore. )

I agree with the post about sending the whole team to a shrink...or drill instructor. ZERO leadership

We have ONE guy who wouldn't get driven out of the locker room from previous Husker teams, and that is Josh Mitchell. Too bad he didn't come in a Stanley Jean Baptiste type body, but I'll still take him over the zombies that pass for the rest of the team.
I mentioned this early in the season. Most agreed but some ridiculed this line of thought. Bench em. All of em. All the starters. Let the kids with heart play. Screw the talent. Yesterday proved how useless talent can be without the proper motivation. Minnesota wanted it. They took it. We let them.

Fire Bo now. This team needs a reason to move forward. Zombies is the perfect word. The coach is a zombie and his players are following. I like Bo. But it's over. I'm usually not for midseason firings but I believe this is one time where it will help. The team needs a fresh start now. Let Bo go and let the kids just have fun. No expectations. Just play hard and have fun.

Because I believe there truly is something systemic going on.......

I can't put my finger totally on it though.

TO had his assistant coaches to kick the kids butts. All kinds of stories about people underperforming in practice and being sent off the field immediately.

I'll be right there with you chaddy.........I'll literally scream if I see him take the field!
I'll be right there with you chaddy.........I'll literally scream if I see him take the field!
And I love Taylor......

Love what he has done for the program...the comebacks, his will to win.......

Yet, you don't feed the young man to the wolves by playing him injured. The young man is hurting, trying to win the game.....

For God sakes!!! Play your healthy back-ups!!! And get your team focused for a damn game.....

Just make sure a baseball bat isn't a part of your sh#t. Flipping one of those is like, the worst thing on the planet.

Completely agree with you, it's not fair to Taylor.

And I have this weird feeling that Bo will keep playing Taylor from interpreting his post-game presser........

f'ing pisses me off..........

It sucks because it comes off as blaming Taylor, but it's not the kids fault. Yea, he struggles out there clearly. But what happened to him being 100% before we put him out there? The coaches literally screwed him by playing him and probably set him back even more now. Beck constantly makes Taylor look bad. Abandoning the run, and trying to make Talor look like Peyton manning is doing no service to Taylor. These coaches are simply mind boggling. I can't make sense of any of it. We got pushed around and man handled by Minnesota? Kids aren't bringing their A game after a bye week? Bo quoted as saying Minnesota was doing things we haven't seen before? What? You mean running power formation between the tackles? We haven't seen that? Or what, the speed option type plays Wisconcsin ran straight up our a$$ for sixty minutes last year? You mean we still have no answer for that? Ugh.....it's disgusting this staffs excuses. And like a true leader, we've resorted to blaming the kids......
