Now that's weird . . . unless they were told to leave by the administration.

Just escorted off of the premises. I am guessing this is standard policy.

That's what I was getting at with the "told to leave." Probably a trespass warning of some sort.

Agreed. Unless they want to set a formality example to college students that weed/drugs is a serious matter.

Depending on the accuracy of the account, I'm not sure it would be "standard policy" to be escorted out by police. Perhaps police were there because of a crowd but he wouldn't need to be "taken away". Again, depending on how precise the description is.

I don't smoke weed but I'd sure appreciate the tax revenue it would bring in.

I think it should be legal in every state. We're moving towards that in a lot of places anyway with Washington and Colorado already doing so. In 10 years it's going to legal in a lot more states odds are.
