Bowl Projection: Good News and Bad News

The good news is that the Outback Bowl is a New Year's Day Bowl. The bad news is that it's a match up with LSU. I can't fathom what the point spread would be on that game.

I would love this match up... Remember last year, people were assuming we'd be taken to town by Georgia and we were in it for the bulk of the game. bring on the best team possible, Football fans outside of Husker/LSU fan base will watch this bowl matchup, would much rather have that then some scrub team on a pre-New year bowl

And I'm sorry, but I don't buy Nebraska getting a Gater or Outback bowl appearance, especially considering our bowl history. That, and if Oklahoma is available to the BWW bowl, there's only one team to match with them to make the game a guaranteed must-watch bowl.

Im gonna make a prediction. No matter the bowl opponent if the Huskers win it will be because the other team sucked. If the Huskers lose it will be because the Huskers suck.

24 points is an incredible spread for two bcs teams in a bowl game...I mean we're not talking a team with a losing record taking on a division leader here.

Yes, I have. LSU isn't as good as you think. We've improved a lot within the last two games, I don't see them beating us by 3+ touchdowns.

I still have a hard time believing that we got UGA's best effort though.

LSU would beat us probably but it would probably be by 10-14. I don't see them blowing us out.
