Peaking around the corner

So now we that we know, time to throw our full support out there, I think this years bowl game will be the most important in a while, I usually don't put much stake in them but we can't end with losses in 3 of the last 4.

We need to create some momentum that will carry through to the offseason and 2014.

Speaking of 2014 looking around the corner, I think we will know by week 5 if Bo is going to return, we play at Fresno St, home against Miami and at Sparty in the first 5 weeks. If we can start strong there is a good case for next year to be special, after that there is a bye then 3 lesser teams in NW, Purdue and Rutgers before anothe bye and we end with redemption month with Wisconsin, Minny and Iowa.

The schedule sets up to gather some early momentum, get right, then bring the hammer!

I think having a tougher schedule early will actually be beneficial. Play harder sooner and have to compete better from day 1.

Fresno State loses a lot this year. Not going to be the challenge they would have been this year, Carr and Smith are both gone, beyond that I have no real idea. I went to a couple of their games this year. I am not really impressed with their coaching staff either

True but the casual fan/voter will still consider Fresno a solid/top mid major so a win against them will mean much more than SDSU or Wyoming.

I am going to predict 3-3 by the bye week. Huge upset to Fresno State, a loss to Miami, and a loss to MSU.

The ultimate irony would be if Carl Pelini's successor at FAU upset Nebraska. It's almost too tempting for the Football Gods to ignore. Down the stretch, I see at least two losses between Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, and Minnesota.

At the end of the day, you're looking at a 7-5 regular season.

Further, I'm gonna say gameday comes to Lincoln for the Miami game

Acc and big 12 schedules aren't out yet but so far the only thing i see that would be better that week is Alabama vs Florida
