That could be interesting, but I don't think Callahan would leave for the NFL yet if he does.

I think Callahan is very happy here. He doesn't have to deal with all those Heisman winners going behind his back to Al Davis.
I don't think Coz is on the hot seat either. With all the injuries our defense has this season the fact we have only given up 17.7 points a game is pretty good. Now ISU might try to raid one of Nebraska's coaches. I could actually see Coz taking the job. Although I don't know if he would want to leave Nebraska.

I remember hearing Cally say he went to the NFL to get a good college HC job. I don't think he wants to go back to the pros anytine soon.
As far as losing any staff, I don't think anyone bolts until their contract is up, or we win a National Championship, unless they get a sweet, sweet gig.
I think Norvell/Coz stay here for the next year or 2.

Well I guess we will find out soon enough............I think Callahan is our coach for a while and I'm happy about that. I think Coz and Norvell will stay because of the potential with this team. They could help with the big things to come and up their stock so to speak for bigger schools than ISU to look at them.

What does Norvell do? I know his TITLE is offensive coordinator but with Coach Callahan calling the plays what does he do? He's supposed to be the QB coach and directs the Elite QB Camp at Nebraska in the summer. Is he really head coach material at this point?

Good point. I assume he is the guy who has helped ZT come along as far as he has this season, but on gameday I don't know exactly what he does. Maybe gives some input to Callahan in certain situations.
