Someone claiming to be a Husker fan trying to sabotage recruiting

If any of you think this is not being said by coaches recruiting the same kids, I have ocean front property in eastern Kansas you would be interested in. It really is not a big deal. Whether on Twitter or face to face what difference does it make.

We are having problems, no one can say we aren't and every program will use that against us. Just like we would with any kid we wanted that was thinking USC a month back. Just a fact of life guys. A lot of hub bub about nothing.

 
The bigger deal is probably Rich Fisher making sure everyone in Husker nation and beyond knows about it.

Social media is a tough thing to grasp...maybe the ban shouldn't be just on the players.

And skersfan is right. Where there's an opening, opposing coaches will pounce. Negative recruiting. It happens all the time. Hey, you really sure about Nebraska, man? Because _____, _____, and ____. Even when there isn't one, you can try to create doubt. skersfan is even more to the point when he points out that Pelini did this against *us* ten years ago ... but maybe that's all water under the bridge now that we're all on the same team?

and after the clinkscales commit, i trust this staff to be able to handle the issues this team is going through. heck, they seem to be able to use it to their advantage.

recruiting seems to be more about personal relationships than just the perception of a program.

On the extreme off chance it was perpetrated by a Bo hater, douchebag crossed the line and can no longer claim to be a fan. Might be a savvy move actually.

First off the very connected Husker fans will make a point to make sure that this guy is not representative of the fan base. Odds are the kid who got that message also got to see the responses from Fisher's Tweet. He's going to use social media to fight social media.

Second, there are Husker fans out there who will try like hell to ID the guy behind it, and as dirty as recruiting can be, it would not surprise anyone if it was someone associated with a team who is heavily recruiting the kid who got the message.

You agree? How ironic that it was your post #16 that precipitated my comments, especially the "This is ridiculous" portion. I think you have trouble differentiating between legitimate criticism of the job Bo is doing or is likely to do in the future and blind Bo hatred. You seem to attribute any of the former to the latter, always. Do me a favor and don't agree with me until that changes. Thanks.
