That run we had in the 90s was just amazing....as said before, it will be hard to accomplish.

Hopefully BC will get a NC under his belt before 20 years is up.

Devaney had two national titles in ten years. He went thirty-two games in a row without a loss. Although he did have a tie to USC thrown in there that is still a heck of a record. One even Dr Tom couldn't equal. Plus Bob did it all in less than half the time Osborne did.

 
Yeah, but the run TO had was better imo. He was just a few plays from winning more than 3 in the 90s, and there were a few years in the 80s where he could have won more.

 
yep.. its soo nice to root for a team with all this history of winning year after year.. Id take that over teams that are just hot right now ANYDAY.. Cuz i know history repeats its self.. its called TRADITION

I feel the same way. I see teams like West Virginia getting some nice wins here and there, but I am so happy I'm a Husker fan just because of all our history and the other things that seperate us from teams like that. There is no place, or a team like Nebraska. :restore
