Forbes ranks the most valuable CF teams

Special Teams Player
Pretty cool list, Huskers come in 10th

their methodology on deciding is

"To determine college football's most valuable teams, we consider each team's value to its athletic department, its university's academic endeavors, its conference and its school's local economy. Athletic value consists of football profit that is directed toward supporting non-revenue sports, like softball or gymnastics, while a team's value for academics consists of money that supports football scholarships or other non-athletic programming, like faculty support, non-athletic scholarships or a library fund. Conference value consists of revenue generated for other conference teams by participating in a bowl game, and a team's value to its local community consists of the direct spending injected by fans visiting the area on days of the team's home games."

Surpised to see Oregon that low with all the 'Flare and Flash' around the program.

See what Chip can do at Texas

Wow, 9 of the Top 20 are in the SEC, and this is before the SEC Network has even launched.

#21 and 22 were Big Ten teams - Iowa and MSU. More interesting that zero ACC teams are on this list.

Going off of numbers alone, something doesn't match up...

Ha ha! Just to be clear, I was chiding Marauder for the extra championships they painted up there a couple years ago. I hadn't even thought about the worker who tragically fell to his death a few weeks back. If that's what you're referring to, that is.

I get that, but even their revenue numbers don't match up.

I might have looked at it wrong but was the USA Today article based of 2012 numbers, compared to the Forbes article using 2013? Again, I could be completely wrong...
