ZT's Legacy

IMO, ZT has just cemented his legacy as one of the greatest Husker qb's ever. That final drive was very reminicant of the 97 Mizzou game, with everyone so calm and just feeling positive about what had to be done. ZT is a Husker savior and I am glad to have him as my teams qb. GBR!

Probably not the best ever...He needs a ring to have that said about him...but as far as our new style of QB....top notch!!!!!!!!!

ZT is the man!!!!

I thought he was done...taking hits, throwing the INT...he came back and led the team to victory!!!

Glad he cemented his place as a Husker legend! Congrats ZT!!! :clap :clap :clap

and this was a big win, too. coming from behind *at* Texas A&M is no easy feat.

but zac and the boys did. it was dog ugly, but they walk out with a win. and we are one win closer to the hallowed 9 win mark, the level of performance we got bored with in the 30 some years of devaney and osborne.

now to remind the Puffs who rule the north and then it's off to the big XII championship.

heh. life is good... if you're a husker.

He was great on that final drive. He didn't looked rushed, stressed, or intimdated in the least bit. Instead, he was casually strolling down the field like we had a 50-point lead.

He was a leader on that final drive. He will be forever remembered as the first good QB in the offense. I am glad he is here and leading this team.

Stats-wise he is obviously number one but there is more involved that just stats to being the QB. ZT is definately in the top 10 and may finish in the top 5 with a big performance over the Bluffs and a good showing against Texas in KC.

he might not be the best QB we have had, but he is my favorite. he's tough plays hard and is a great leader. he reminds me a lot of a certain 2nd string QB from our 95 team.

I just can't put him #1 on my list. Tommie is #1, followed by Brook at #2.

Imagine if we could have him for one more year?? Keller will come in next year and should do a good job. The records that ZT is setting this year will be shattered when we get a QB here that will be able to give 3-4 years.

Records will be broken, but there will only be one Zac Taylor. As the quarterbacks at here play, they will have a line that is incredible, while ZT's hasn't been much to praise, though they should be commended for that final drive. But I will forever remember ZT as the man who took us from the bottom, and started the Order Restoration project here at Nebraska. GBR

Best pocket QB at Nebraska ever. Two years (only one with a talented receiving corps, mind you) and he broke most of the main passing records.
I'd like to think so. Tagge was pretty good. so was Humm and Ferragamo.

Taylor has this ability to come off the mat and make plays. After the INT, I really thought it was over until the blocked FG.

He IS the master of the 2:00 minute drive!

He certainly has set a benchmark for QB's to come in the WCO.

With hsi 2 today, ZT needs only 3 TD passes to break Frazier's career mark.
