Congrats to the Huskers

First of all, I apologize for being so bitter last night. As much as I still believe we got screwed, it was still a phenomenal game.

Both teams played well, the Huskers just managed to play a little bit better. As far as the 2nd half goes, don't blame that ALL on your team. I think you need to give A&M credit. They did it ALL year. We make great 2nd half adjustments, and we win (or come REALLY close) in the 2nd half because of our D.

The factor that I believe caused us to lose? J-Train...touched the ball like 4 times. When Mark Dodge intercepted the ball, Fran needed to give it to Javorskie like 3 times to get the first..we probably would have.

Regardless, it was a great game, and I am happy to be a HUSKER FAN again!

Beat the HELL outta CU!

I thought the Huskers had A&M's option pretty well defended except for some obvious mess-ups leading to long runs. I was surpised that they didn't give Lane more chances. The coaches must have thought NU was keying on him or something.

 
Of COURSE I'm a Husker Fan...just not on the one week every two years we play.

I love this board, and the posters are great. I hope everyone who came down had a positive experience. I still feel bad about my e-tantrum, and if you still have an issue with me, I'll do whatever it takes to remedy that.

yes, we appreciate your positive comments......but i am surprised they did not use Lane a lot more...i figured he would touch the ball at least a dozen times..i don't think Franchione is using him enough....weird

AGMAN, I knew that was not the real you coming out. It is tough to be so close and have it slip away. I think the final score reflected how close these teams really are, not who is better. either team could have won yesterday, we just had enough time to get it done. Thanks for all of your input and don't worry if some of the other board members jump on you. See you in Lincoln next year.

One has to wonder if that Aggie hadn't run into Taylor if that may have been the game. What was he thinking? I guess that's part of the fun of college football. One minute your jumping up and down cheering, the next minute your tearing your hair out. Tough way for the Aggies to lose.

Hay, we all get a little crazy when our beloved team isn't doing to well. I am a prime example of that. You are good guy and you remind me of my uncle. A sooner fan, but knows everything about the Huskers. Thats allright, he went to the Mizzou game and was decked out in Husker gear.

Yeah, because I'm a bad Husker fan for supporting my OWN team when we play. That makes absolutely NO sense.

 
Don't sweat the nonsense AgMarauder, you're still a class guy and a Husker fan in my books. You bring intellegent posts to the board. I know you're an Aggie fan as well but its all good, you don't have to be an "exclusive Husker fan" to be a member. I was at the game, incredible place to watch a game, good luck against UT!

Thanks man, like I said, it feels good to be a husker fan again. And losing to NU is not as bad as losing to BlowU or tceh as far as I'm concerned.

 
You're cool, Ag, we all know how you felt last night. We felt the same way directly after the Texas game. I have always had respect for A&M. Heck, I have a couple of A&M shirts from when I attended their Corpus Chirsti campus in '94.
