What did tickets cost you as a student?

I was lucky. I went to UNL in the mid 90's

. I think each home game ticket was around $18-$19? I remember someone asking me a few years ago how much someone had to pay to get my student ticket validated back then when I sold it, because apparently it's a lot different now. My response?

Why the hell would I have ever sold my ticket?
Maybe to buy an extra ticket for your brother/friend?
I have no brothers, and my friends can get their own tickets if they didn't already have them. I'm kind of selfish when it came to Husker game tickets I guess.
My preciouses...
Do you have season tickets for the upcoming season? I'd like one.

Marching band 1997-2001 = Free tickets, including road trips and bowl games, not to mention the sweet uniforms.

Late 80s. Hell, that was too long ago for me to remember exactly. I think my freshman year it was around $50. It probably went up from there a bit over the next 5 years.

When I was there from 2004 - 2010 (yup, 6-year plan lol) the first couple years they were around $140 for the season. When T.O. came back as AD he raised the price to $152/season with a promise that they wouldn't go up again until 2012, IIRC.

My first year 7 home games one student punch card ticket for the season was $49.00 and the first game Florida State came into the hottest stadium on the planet and won 17-13, we haven't lost a home opener since........

Around $120 for the season. Pre-wristband . . . assigned seats but no one sat in the correct seat other than for a few really big games like USC.

Mid 90's too. I couldn't tell you the price of tickets to save my life but I know they were cheap by today's standards. I remember being really hung over for those games. Good times.
