Not cool. Forgive us who were former members or current memebers of the corps who joined because of our love for Aggieland, or because of patriotism, or wanting to uphold our traditions. Also, forgive the greater than 50% who go on to serve in the military. Forgive us all for joining an organization that prides itself on discipline, charactere building, and physical fitness that leads to lifelong lessons and friends who will marry and bury us. Learn a little more before you flame away at something you don't understand.

Dont preach to me about being a vet. I served my country for 12 years in the REAL Corp......I also serve and protect my city every day and night. So don't feed me this crap about being unpatriotic!!!!! From what I witnessed, they had ZERO discipline on the side line!

Point out where I called you unpatriotic. And thank you for serving, I mean that. All I asked is you not insult an organization filled with fine young men and women you know little about.

OK first off I misunderstood what you posted and I think you did as mine. You took my "psycho" comment way out of context! I meant was they were rabid.....insane....hissing.....but I have to admit even in uniform some of them acted way outta line....screaming obsceneties at the refs and the Husker players....

There are always a few bad eggs...and the way the game turned out, I understand. Had the game turned out differently, I'm sure many huskers would have behaved the same. Oh well..game is overe, one more nail in Fran's coffin, and we move on.

like AG said there will always be bad sports who have nothing but bitterness when their team loses, and will find ways to blame the coaches for everything wrong with the team even when they win.

guess what, even NU has people like these

I must say GOD WAS IT LOUD!!!! I haven't been back to Lincoln in years so I can't remember how loud it was there, so I can't compair the two. I took my 8 year old to his first Husker game and I think he will remember this one for the rest of his life! My son and I got to stand down on the field for most of the game. (Not next to the psycho wannabe Army guys aka Aggies). I stood close to the Husker side. Man some of those Husker kids are HUGE!!!!!!!!! Murtha looks like a tower. Anyways.....I was really bummed out the second half. Seeing Zack toss that pick towards the end of the game, I thought it was all over but the crying. For some freak of nature, I told my son we were going to stay since this was the only time we can see the Huskers this year in person. THANK GOD WE DID. When Purify caught that pass I swear to god I picked up my son and tossed him 40 feet in the air! Anyways....all my son and I could talk about was not giving up at whatever it is that you are doing. (but I got to be honest, if I was at home watching this game, I probably would of turned the TV off prior to the end too) Want to shut up 60 thousand plus in a stadium? Score with less then a minute to go! Anyways....WE ARE THE BIG 12 NORTH CHAMPS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bonez

Glad to hear you had the opportunity that you did, BG. That game is something that will connect you and your son forever. Thanks for sharing.

Aggie I can tell you know sh#t about husker fans........we would not do that and I am a season ticket holder and have had to sit through the k-state thumping we took in Lincoln.........people in Lincoln fans of the corn are respectful and courteous........we took a huge hit in the sack when texas escaped and texas fans were treated with hand shakes, and great game etc. if someone does start acting out of line they are quickly kept in check or escorted out by nebraska's finest.............when k-state thumped us they were screaming obscenities at NU fans trying to incite arguments as they left and NU fans stood and clapped the sumbag kitties off the field and don't get me wrong if some a$$ baby yells in my face " fukc nebraska I would love to own his azz in 2.5 seconds but that is not the Nebraska way.

Trust me, I know NU fans. I know that NU fans are some of the best in the country, but Aggies pride ourselves on class too.

But you can't tell me that EVERY SINGLE NU fan is like that. No one can. You may have a lower percentage of those poor sports, but they exist. I'm not trying to say you have a school like tceh or CU, all I'm saying is that of course you have a few of those, whose VAST MINORITY in no way represent the true greatness and sportsmanship of NU as a whole.

There are always a few :asshat in every bunch..........NU has em, Aggies have em, Texas has em, etc. No fanbase can say every single one of our fans are well behaved citizens that will shake you hand while your team is kicking their teams a$$es.......just the nature of the beast........
