The best recruiters in college football today aren't great recruiters because they are straight-forward, hard-nosed guys (generally speaking). The best recruiters have a sleazy, used car salesman side to them. I much prefer how Bo goes about things from an ethical standpoint. I never have to worry that he's telling kids the wrong things and making them promises.
Bo and his staff since they have gotten here have been able to recruit a certain type of player that fits the mold of Nebraska because of this. He recruits guys who walk onto campus day one knowing that they have to work hard and compete every day in order to be successful. The ones that haven't had that mentality have found other places to be, and that's fine by me. Give me Ameer Abdullah, Rex Burkhead, Quincy Enunwa, Spencer Long, Tyler Legate, and Ben Cotton. Those guys were all under-the-radar guys who worked their arses off and it paid off big-time.
