Anyone else concerned over CU

There has been sooooo much talk from this team about making it to KC. Well, they've done that, they have achieved their goal, and I'm proud of them. However, the Big 12 championship game will lose a LOT of luster to me if we don't handily beat down the vermin.

We SHOULD win this game, but we COULD lose if we don't have our heads screwed on straight. I do feel alot better that it is at home.

honostly no, we can go out and play like sh#t and still beat the sh#t out of these guys this year... but really our Seniors will show up and want to go out in a special way.

I am concerned because Colorado will play the best that they have all season against the Huskers. Having said that, I don't think that Colorado's best could beat the Huskers worst but I hope that we bring our A game and pound them ten times as bad as last year to shut up Hawkins big mouth.

We are Colorado's bowl game. We clearly have the better team but I have to admit I hope we go out and score a whole bunch of points in the first half. If the crowd really gets into this game it will be a rough afternoon for the buffs.

That mentality still cracks me up. People who think like this are completely naive. Of course we should be concerned. If Colorado wins one game in a season who do they want to beat more than anyone else? Baylor? Give me a break, if we come to play with anything less than an A game (OK, maybe an A- game) we can be beat......especially if we keep up our 3rd quarter trend.

Throw out the 3 blowout wins against LaTech, Nicholls State and Troy (that leaves USC and conference games).....and NU HAS A TOTAL OF 7 POINTS IN ALL OF THE 3RD QUARTERS COMBINED!

Wake up...

Just remember...Even at 8-3, the worst days as a Husker are better than the best days as a Buff!! :w00t :w00t :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin

I just don't see NU laying an egg for this game....it is the final home game of the season, final home game for the seniors, it is the game before the Big XII Championship, and IT IS COLORADO!!! If they cannot get fired up and ready to play these guys, I will be very disappointed.

"phst! what can the cowboys do?"

"i really think we can beat texas!"

"man, i am *so* psyched for this game! we are **TOTALLY* gonna whip USC!"

all three quotes by me. hopefully, will be confident... and ready.

It's their bowl game. Hawkins has embraced the Husker hatred of the granola eating faithful. They'll be up for the game, for sure. Take em out of the game early like we did last year

... and Colorado has won 1 game all year. They are a complete joke. Troy is a better team than Colorado this year. Please, the guys will be ready to go and get them down early then get the backups in to stay healthy.
