Most of the people I've personally talked to from Iowa hate/hated. Dr. Tom, too.how much does it take before it's not longer anecdotal? if 80% of the 10 people I speak to about the subject in a given month express similar opinions, is it anecdotal? -- and I'm in Minneapolis this week...so I've gotten a B1G perspective of the situation finally...and it matches my experience in KC exactly.Anecdotal evidence is all I need to make an uninformed opinion.Neither from Nebraska. Confirms what I have experienced here in California: no one outside Nebraska fans can believe he's still coaching here. Two of Stewart Mandel's nine answered letters were about Bo Pelini's contract extension in the latest Mailbag.
Stewart, with everything you've written about Bo Pelini and Nebraska recently, you've got to be surprised by the news of Pelini's contract extension, right?
-- Steve, Strongsville, Ohio
No, not really. He got a one-year extension, the bare minimum show of confidence an athletic director can offer. It was probably necessary to reassure recruits. But good for Pelini. He could use a little love right now, as Tim Miles' Nebrasketball is the hottest show in town.
The Bo Pelini contract extension. Five words. Go.

It's a good thing that we didn't decide to change coaches based solely on the opinions of a portion of the fans of other programs.
we used to be able to laugh at them because of theirs....Iowa Fan laughs at us because of our coach? OH NOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to know where you're stories are coming from then. Church? Family gatherings with other Husker fans? Drive over to Callahan's for the first game, and hang out with the 100 or so Husker fans there. Your "experiences" will quickly line up more closely with mine. And that's in a loaded environment. Go to Johnny's or Tanners wearing Husker gear.I live in Kansas City also and have had the exact opposite experiences as kchusker_chris. Anecdotal stories are just that.
Not sure why you don't. I still do. Heck, a former player is suing Iowa because of how Ferentz coached. If that's not worth laughing at, I don't know what is.we used to be able to laugh at them because of theirs....Iowa Fan laughs at us because of our coach? OH NOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure a guy almost dying is something we should be laughing about. Not sure why you don't. I still do. Heck, a former player is suing Iowa because of how Ferentz coached. If that's not worth laughing at, I don't know what is.
Are you saying we can't because they beat us? So we're 2-1 against them.
So you know about that. And you claim Iowa has some respectability high ground over Nebraska? Really not following where you're going here. Not sure a guy almost dying is something we should be laughing about. Not sure why you don't. I still do. ah come on...now you're just making stuff up. find where i said anything even remotely close to that.So you know about that. And you claim Iowa has some respectability high ground over Nebraska? If you're upset with the situation at Nebraska that's understandable. Making any claim that Iowa is in any way better than Nebraska... you've lost me.

Was wondering how your flowchart worked. Then I must think the Husker program is a crap football program because I don't like our coach. Same parser used.Iowa > Nebraska because we can no longer laugh at their coach but they can laugh at ours.
Parse that however you want, but the impact is clear.
