From browsing Baylor boards really quick they seem to think the teams matchup pretty well.

The key to the game for us will be being able to get penetration and good help defense. Our guards match up well on offense and defense against theirs, and their bigs matchup the same way against us.

In some ways, I think it might be a little like Wisconsin in that we will have to double down on the bigs on almost every possession (except not leaving Heslip) so Baylor's PG / Forward will be the ones determining things if they hit shots or not. Baylor will be tougher to rebound against then Wisconsin was on the defensive end, so we might have to give up a little transition opportunity to avoid a lot of offensive rebounds.

It's not like we have much of a transition game anyways.

But since they run a zone, that gives us opportunities for offensive boards of our own that we need to take advantage of.

But it won’t be enough to emulate the impressive athleticism Nebraska's men's basketball team will see in Friday’s NCAA West Regional second-round game in San Antonio.

Baylor starts 7-foot-1 Isaiah Austin, 6-9 Cory Jefferson and 6-6 Royce O’Neale, and brings 6-8 Rico Gathers and 6-7 Taurean Prince off the bench as part of its eight-player rotation.

Austin, a sophomore center, has 114 blocked shots, the sixth-most in a season by a Big 12 Conference player, and his 18 blocked shots over four games at last week’s Big 12 Tournament set a tournament record.

Baylor also averages 14.2 offensive rebounds per game, led by Jefferson’s 104 this season.

Shields and Petteway just need to be in prime form. Get to the rim and get them guys some fouls on them. Ruthless and relentless penetration and drive. Like we was against Wisconsin. NOT Ohio St.

I really wish I could watch this game. I will record and said if we get beat I just won't watch it but I really don't want to miss history being made. I think that if we can get through Baylor and finally get the first game off of their shoulders we could do really well the next game.
