Vucetic, Hawkins and Wagner Leaving the Program

University of Nebraska Men’s Basketball Coach Tim Miles announced Wednesday that sophomore Sergej Vucetic and freshmen Nathan Hawkins and Tim Wagner have decided to leave the program at the conclusion of the spring semester.
“While it is always disappointing to lose players from your program, I support these young men and their future goals,” Miles said. “There is no doubt they each want to play a larger role in a new program and hopefully transferring will allow that to happen. I appreciate their hard work for the Huskers and wish them the best.”

Could end up being a positive in the long run for us. I am a little surprised by Hawkins but hopefully that just speaks to how well Fuller is doing in his redshirt year. Miles has shown he can be very successful with transfers so hopefully he can get us some solid playmakers.

He's a bum. I know his girlfriend and he got in trouble because he didn't go to any of his classes. She says he sleeps all day and doesn't practice hard so that's why he never progressed.

Rumors are just rumors but he didnt practice hard or do anything that would invalidate my argument.

His leaving was probably more on Miles asking him to transfer.

Maybe he never adjusted to the time zone difference.
