Love that place. It's an easy drunken walk/ride from the Armstrong, too.I drank A LOT of beers last night at The Mayor of Old Town

That's one of those beers that I absolutely love on tap but I think that it tastes completely different from a bottle. (Is that a real thing?)enjoyed a couple 1554's tonight. that is a solid brew.
oh, it is definitely a thing. i can not stand bud from a tap, but i am quite fond of it from a can or bottle. That's one of those beers that I absolutely love on tap but I think that it tastes completely different from a bottle. (Is that a real thing?)
I think just about every specialty or micro brew tastes better from a tap. Or at the very least poured out into a glass in order to oxygenate(if that's a thing).oh, it is definitely a thing. i can not stand bud from a tap, but i am quite fond of it from a can or bottle. That's one of those beers that I absolutely love on tap but I think that it tastes completely different from a bottle. i have never had 1554 from a tap though.
I almost always do this . . . unless I'm drinking outdoors.Or at the very least poured out into a glass in order to oxygenate(if that's a thing).
Craft beers, from my experience, are better if they are consumed at a warmer temp than your normal domestic.yeah, pouring into a glass usually makes a pretty noticeable difference with craft brews.
i usually keep my beer fridge pretty cold. which is great for domestos, not so much for some craft beers. i wonder if that is another reason they taste so much better from tap? better temp. control.

Not only is Corona not very good—it’s one of the worst Mexican beers. Here’s how the folks at Beer Advocate rank other suds from south of the border.

Oddly enough, Constellation makes and distributes four of those brews: Negra Modelo, Victoria, Modelo Especial, and Pacifico.
