Kickoff Time Announcement Thread - Primetime Games: Miami, MSU, *FSU*

I have seen many tweets from recruits considering Nebraska or committed to Nebraska commenting on the game that weekend as though they watched it. It is ridiculous to think that a top recruit that is trying to consider between 2-3 top programs isn't going to want to watch those programs on the weekend. Even if a small percentage want to do that, why put yourself in a time slot that would make it harder for them to do that?
Do you follow high school football players on Twitter?

Jeffrey Dahmer thinks that's creepy.

Do recruiting services or Nebraska media never retweet quotes from recruits talking about Nebraska?

Also don't forget guys,

this game is out in the damn desert. We should be very thankful that it is as late as it is - any earlier and there would be a legitimate advantage for Fresno playing at home with those insane temps.

Maybe a little bit, but it's dry heat. I'll take that over hot and humid any day.

Um, this is insanely false. It can be hot, but there's no humidity and it's hardly a desert.

Fresno's coach is an idiot then man.

Not saying it's a huge deal, but it's less of a deal playing at night. That helps our football team. That's all.

If he called it a desert then he might be, yes.

I would say playing at 1 AM Lincoln time will offset that a bit.
