You do realize that is the second longest suspension ever given for a knee on knee hit like that?

The most was 8 games....

That was actually a pretty severe penalty for a guy who had played clean this year and was 200th in the league in penalty minutes.

You do realize that the Av's lost their best defenseman for the rest of the playoffs...

If he had never done anything like this before, you argument would be a valid one, but since he's a douchebag of note, then he's still getting off easy...
