Can someone explain to me why......

BC , Wake Forrest , Tennessee(3 losses), and BYU? are ahead of us in the rankings? I dont really care about the rankings anymore , but the Husker hate that the AP has for us is unbelievable. We'll probably move up one spot and get jumped by South Florida and Hawaii.

The Huskers being ranked lowly isn't new... we are in the Midwest and we get overlooked (and I think we're also hated) by many journalists who vote. I think we'll move up after the Big 12 championship... when we win... just so BCS will be able to tout our ranking when they have to put us in a bowl.

Have to remember we have only beat two teams with a winning record KSU and A&M. Kansas is 6-6, but that doesn't give us a lot of pull with the outside media. Have to remember most of those guys don't watch us play, but look at our record and who we have beat. I am not defending them because we are better than those other teams, but just my opinion.

Edit: Forgot about Missouri and I was at the game!

we beast KSU, MU, and A&M all with at least 7 wins. And 6 win KU.

The biggest problem with our ranking is we play in the North, and many of the voters feel the North is only a step above the sunbelt.

 
We will move up when the polls come out tomorrow. Take a deep breath and get a good night sleep. If you wake up and it is still BS, then repost.

 
We have lost 3 games and one of those was to an okie st team that we were supposed to win, that does not look good in the eyes of people that do not want to give us anymore credit than we deserve. I know if the golden homers had played the same schedule with the same results they would be rated alot higher than we are.

Anyways who cares we have a chance to play ou and if we win we play in a BCS game. Who would have thunk it 3 years ago.
