I just don't think we should be talking smack to a team that beat us two years ago, and came within a last second hail mary of beating us a second time in a row. Let's beat them the next 10 years, then we can claim NU all we want. It doesn't take brilliance to understand that concept.

Correct me if Im wrong but do the rivalry trophies not go to the winning team regardless of score? I didnt realize you had to OWN ateam to claim victory. And yes yes NW is not a rival but they are about as close as it gets at the moment. Even their fans recognize the title of Real NU on the line when the two teams play.

If it was a rivalry trophy sort of deal that would be awesome. Get it set up between the two schools. If we're just doing it on our own to show dominance then we better be dominant. Let's make that 5-2 record 10-2 or 20-2, then we can start talking. I fully expect us to do that.
