Link1. Terran Petteway, Nebraska: Simply put, this junior can score. But his stat line (18.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg) hardly shows his impact for the on-the-rise Cornhuskers, who made the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1998 last season with Petteway as their catalyst. It takes winning close games to win the Big Ten. And to win close games, you need an alpha dog guy to turn to in pivotal stretches. Petteway might be the best go-to option in the Big Ten. Last year he scored more than 20 points eight times and more than 30 twice. He will be relied upon to be the main manufacturer again for a Nebraska squad trying to carry over the momentum from its fourth-place Big Ten finish spurred by winning 10 of the last 13 league games.
