Northwestern, I guess. Kind of a toss up game at this point. Minnesota kind of gave us the business last year, but I don't think that happens with Armstrong.

Being just up the road from Rutgers and working with many of their fans, they're already penciling that in as a loss...
That explains so much about you, now I feel pity for you.
well, 10 more months and a wake up, then bound for the homeland...

only thing is I want to see the Huskers play here so they can shut up these petulant Rutgers fans...
If they're predicting a Rutgers loss, why does that demand they should shut up?

A team that might possibly surprise folks is Illinois Nebraska. They generally have decent recruiting. Not great, but solid. A lot of 3* recruits with a couple 4*s mixed in. And is Tim Beckman's 3rd Bo Pelini's 7th year as coach. His teams haven't shown anything yet, so he'll be scratching and clawing for a few wins to save his job.

Ha ha! Oh sure, that's true. But I've seen 500 posts like that about Nebraska. Mine might be the first time it's ever been said about Illinois. Ever.

2011 Colter - 4/6 passing, 115 yards, 1 TD, 17 carries, 57 yards, 2 TD

2012 Colter - 1/2 passing, 5 yards, 0 TD, 14 carries, 35 yards, 0 TD

2013 Colter - 4/8 passing, 45 yards, 0 TD, 23 carries, 86 yards, 0 TD

I'll stand by one.

Trevor Siemian is 22/52 for 219 yards with 2 tds and 2 ints against Nebraska. He's the throwing qb that Bo can devour. Northwestern would be about the third team down on this list for me.
You have to like our chances against him. They've obviously given us everything we wanted for three years but, really, it's been more about us playing down to them - shooting ourselves in the foot. Now, we've shown a propensity for doing that and it could definitely happen again but I think our improved defense against a stationary QB will have us in very good shape this year. They had 133 yards of offense and three points in most of three quarters after the defense got straightened out last year and the three points was on a three play, 3 yard drive after an INT.

Folks in Jersey love flapping their yap, even when their team sucks...

I really hope the Huskers crush them, by 40 or so, so they'll shut the f*ck up...

While I agree Siemian has hurt his team more then helped. Venric Mark will be back and should take some stress off him.

Venric Mark is the only person to be worried about. He is the third best RB in our league behind two potential All-Americans. He alone can cause our defense to collapse with one missed step. Go back and look at his long touchdown run in 2012 against us. He is also a heckova return man. He is why NW has a shot at beating anyone.

I voted for Illinois because eventually they are going to come out and surprise us all. I didn't vote for NW or Minnie because they are n0t going to be overlooked by us.
