When someones opinion is controversial at best, people are gonna argue. To say geography doesn't play a role in recruiting is ridiculous. Mom and Dad, economics, weather, academics, distance from home, the staffs history of putting people in the league. All these things play into recruiting. If they didn't then coaches and staffs wouldn't play up these things as advantageous where it applies. Just like we use tradition here. And runzas!I take complete ownership. My belief is that geographical location does not matter, if you have a coach that kids want to play for. I'm entitled to my opinion. I may not agree with everyone else's opinions, but I respect them all. Others want to hurl insults and act like juveniles. In the end, we are all Husker fans who all have the same vision. Why some Husker fans want to argue with others is something I'll never comprehend. So take some ownership in your statements or leave it alone. Im not saying this to you im saying it for a friend.Once again, I don't know why all of the butthurt in this thread is directed at me. I'm simply the messenger. I can't even count how many times I've heard Nebraska fans say that recruits don't want to play for Nebraska simply because there's nothing to do in Lincoln.
