2014 World Series

I was thinking the exact same thing. It gave me the mental image of a really excited Royals fan being all cheery, then suddenly a kid runs up and kicks him in the balls.

 
I grew up a Royals fan. Was a sophomore in college when they won it in 1985. I don't really watch a lot of Baseball anymore, but am happy to see the Royals have success.

 
KC up big early. Giants already on their third pitcher to start the 3rd. Might play into tomorrow as well (assuming the Royals hang on).

 
San Francisco scored the first seven runs of the World Series.

Teams split the next five runs.

Kansas City scored the next eight runs.

SF scored the next three.

KC scored the next four.

SF scored the next 15 runs.

KC has scored the last nine (and counting....)

 
Jeebus criminy high fastballs

Shoulda sent Gordon home on that passed ball. They werent gettin another hit of Bumgarner and I really think Gordon wouldve made it. He was at 3rd the the outfielder was just throwing the ball.
