Hindsight is 20/20

Pelini is a greenhorn give me a break! All of these others you have compared him to has alot of hC experience under their belts most at multiple schools. Pelini knows his sh#t but culture is a tough one to create and sustaine. How are you oblivious to the fact he is a fresh head coach. It takes times and yea he's gonna f up every now and then

Find me a d1 coach who is a first time coach winning conference championships and national titles in their first 7 years. You won't find one. Wake up and realize we have alot of growing to do. Patience must be a virtue

How is Baylor a machine. What championships have they won?
They won a Big XII title last year, as I recall. They smoke good teams in their conference, if it wasn't for one mediocre performance against West Virginia (and before you say, see, every team has games like that, that was one game. Not a number of games each season), they're undefeated #1 right now. Baylor is certainly having a far better season right now than anything Bo has produced.
In one season, last year, they did more than anything Bo has done. Same goes for this year.
Undefeated #1. Who. Florida state is.
Actually, Florida State is an even better example. They were mediocre for most of the 2000s. They let their legendary coach go. Get Jimbo Fisher, 3 years, National title.
I'm still trying to figure out if you really just said Baylor is undefeated and #1.

I don't want to be where Baylor is. I'm a damn Husker fan.

Also, Pelini has had more experience as a coordinator than Fisher. The former has NFL experience as well as college experience.

I've been attempt to be patient, but, this is ticking me off. You know damn well what I said.

And you would rather be a 9-3 team with no ranked wins, instead of an 11-1 team with great wins over TCU, K-State, Oklahoma?

What part of Florida is a hot bed don't you comprehend lol. Anyone can win with that talent and if they didn't have Winston they wouldn't have.

It's not about preference president we don't get to choose this reality. Buy the ticket take the ride, we chose this hiring bo

Not flamed, but just stating that it is obvious that neither one of you know what you are talking about when it comes to NU's football history. As just about everything you said is either wrong (BC killing NU, that was Frank) or irrelevant (comparing Tom to Bo).

I don't know why so many people have so low expectations for this program and embrace/defend mediocrity as much as they do.
Believing that Bo can do better and that in the meantime 9-10 wins is acceptable is different than embracing mediocrity. You guys keep building up a straw man that simply doesn't exist.
When you can't compete with anyone in the top 20 and can only beat teams that have 7 wins or less on your schedule, that my friend is the definition of mediocrity. Just because we played a pathetic schedule where we happen to play 9 teams that are either barley or non bowl eligible doesn't make it a good season. If we were Iowa, Kansas or Ohio, then yes that would be acceptable. It isn't and should never be acceptable at the University of Nebraska.
