The post took a turn and was a little off the mark. There was never a choice between Blake or Coz going. The topic morphed into a Coz topic as many just do not like him as a coach including me. However, I can't believe we were talking about locking a thread because some did not like what was being stated. Its like taking your football and going home when you don't like how the game is going.

I love this. It’s like when the old ladies in the knitting circle wake from their naps long enough to notice that there was a sexual reference on a T.V. show and they try to get the show banned. Just as the little old blue hairs can avoid all that nasty sex on T.V., you guys who are sick of a topic can avoid having to read about it by not clicking on the thread. I don’t think you know how F-ing stupid you sound when you complain about having to read someone’s post, when we all know YOU DON’T HAVE TO READ THE POST!!! When you see a topic such as “Coz must go,” or “Should have been Coz,” don’t read it. I bet you are one of those guys who stands at the edge of your yard shaking your fist at the kids when they ride their bikes because one of them got a little too close to your petunias, even though you knew there was a school a block away when you bought the house. If you don’t like rap lyrics…don’t listen. If there is too much sex and violence on TV…turn it off. If you don’t want to read the writings of Nebraska fans who are sick of watching our defense melt down against second string QB’s, and blame the defensive coordinator for it…then log onto Huskers.com…but whatever you do, just stop reading us “Coz haters” and “Coz bashers.” It seems to be getting your Depends in a bunch.

Why would it get ugly?? Cali-Husker knows absolutely nothing about me other than I'm a poster on this board. It's his right to assume what he does about me even though he's about as wrong as two boys f*ckin'.

I couldn't give a rats a$$ what he thinks about what I say or don't say.

 
I understood what he was saying but I won't fall for it. It gains nothing. I've been in to many urinary olympic online matches that result in a whole lot of nothing being accomplished. Cali-husker can say whatever he wants about me I honestly couldn't give a sh#t. I've been called worse by better

 
some people just get their panties in a bunch because you dont agree with them. me personally, i am tired of the blame game going toward Callahan for Blake leaving. Blake has kept nothing a secret about his ambitions about being a head coach again and i would be a matter of time that he would leave anyway. he took the opportunity that he was given that he thought would be best for him and his family.

Callahan could not fire Coz in the middle of bowl preperations and offer the job to Blake to try to get him to stay. Coz may or may not be the right answer for the Huskers, but firing him before the bowl game would definitely be the wrong answer.

Callahan did what was best for this team right now. After the game then there might be some changes in the staff or the staff's philosophys.

I still have to go back to the defenses of Charlie McBride. it seems to me that alot of people on this board are not old enough to remember the bend but not break attitude and slow footed LB and DB that NU had in the 80's and early 90's under McBride. Over 10 years mind you. Then after another Orange Bowl defeat to a Florida school with superior team speed, a change was made to the 4-3 scheme. Charlie made LB's out of DB's and recruited even faster DB's

We are in the 3 year of Cozgrove's tenure and we are already calling for his head.

again i will say that you have to give a coach and his staff 4-5 years before you can truley judge how capable they are as coaches and recruiters.

sorry for the long rant, just my opinion
