He couldn't have known if they were though without all of us knowing by way of a press release, correct (dead period)? I'm not entirely sure how it all works.

On the bright side, at least we don't have to hang on a thread until signing day. Would be a gracious move by the kid to tell us now so we can recruit another RB, hate when recruits screw teams last second.

His career is over and he will only get 5-10 carries? I hate A&M as much as anyone ... but I think this kid does awesome wherever he goes. I'd also love to get some odds on the number of carries he gets. I'll take the "over".

I feel sick to my stomach about losing this kid.

whoa there... and yes A&M is a terrible place for RB's. Sumlin is so arrogant that he thinks he can pass his way to National Titles.

 
if there's one position we can afford to lose a commit in this class is at RB. We have plenty of talent already on campus.

 
That's true, ADS. Still would be too bad, but maybe it's an opportunity to get numbers elsewhere. Lots of places could use immediate depth on this team.

Maybe things will change by the end of January and Bussey will be amenable to being re-recruited, if he does switch now.

 
I think it's entirely possible that he has been notified of Brown staying on with the new coaching staff.... I'm sure the two CB's from Colorado knew of Warren staying long before the rest of us did...
