Do you think Nebraska would ever take money to play someone?

Based on the thread title, I thought this was going to be a topic about Casey Martinez and playing time.

A neutral site game would be okay with me. Something like Michigan/Alabama did. But I don't see us taking money to be a home game for someone else. We've had our struggles, but one thing we aren't hard up for is cash.

As long as the stadium continues to sell out there will never be a reason to take a million bucks to play anyone. Just base ticket sales generate 4.5 million dollars I think I have read somewhere. Why would we intentionally lose 3.5 million, not mention concessions, income to the city.

It will never happen in any of our life times.

I read somewhere it was around $6 million per home game. It would be silly to give that up for $1 million or $1.5 million to play anybody.
