A decision on All-Big Ten wing Terran Petteway’s basketball future at Nebraska is on hold until after spring break, coach Tim Miles said Tuesday.
Petteway, a fourth-year junior, is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree in May. The lone question is whether he returns to NU for a senior season or turns professional. His 23rd birthday is in October.
At season’s end, Miles said, the plan is for Petteway to return to Galveston, Texas, to visit his immediate family. His mother is battling cancer for the third time.
“I expect we’ll sit down after he gets back, which is after spring break," Miles said.
