No way, however he will eventually die if they continue to loosely follow the comics

 
It was also an introduction episode, furthering characters we have just met and establishing relationships.

 
Daryl is a gonner. The whole metaphor with the horse and not meant to be corralled. He has gotten too much attention lately.

 
The three that have been posted that are possibilities for next in line: Glenn, Carol, Daryl, definitely all seem like they could be next. The one I'll throw in there as an added gonner, is Sasha. Girls got problems.

I thought Sasha as well, but that would really mess up the 'black characters' ratio.

 
I dont think Daryl dies. Its too obvious. My money would be on Carol at this point. I dont think we see the real shocker until the midway point of next season, but we will see how these next two unfold.
