NFL Free Agency

Well, Julius Thomas wants to take a little bit more money to go play for a sh**ty team, good for him......bye. Owen Daniels is a good one, we'll take him. Kind of disappointed to see Orlando Franklin not even receive an offer from Denver. He was a damn good lineman.
Yeah, I'm a little confused by the Broncos seemingly having no interest in even trying. Apparently they didn't even call Thomas. I don't think they were happy with Franklin. Interesting to see who they go after. I like Daniels and I'm sure Kubiak does as well.

Revis deal is 5 year, $70M, $39M guaranteed, $33M in first two years.

At $14M/year, it really does not seem as high as it could have been. Surprised Pats were not able to match or come close with bonus.

This is lower than Mike Reiss's proposed Revis contract for the Patriots, which in turn was said to be lower than what Revis might command. That proposal was 5 years, $80M, with $42M guaranteed.

I'm surprised.

As I'm sure you know, the Pats hate paying - especially for older players. They'd rather just start over with younger guys.

And it's worked out pretty well for them.

Oh Chip Kelly. I just hope everything is o.k. with you mentally. People are seriously wondering.

Eagles give up 2016 second-rounder for Bradford, too

I mean .... it's usually drive-a-stake-to-make-sure-they're-moving QBs that make his system go. Right?

Chip Kelly has traded away one of the league's best running backs not to mention the Eagles best playmaker, their best wide receiver and their starting QB for a QB who's tore his ACL two years in a row all in the matter of 7 days. Pretty simple really.

As for the QB trade in the 18 games Foles started for coach Chip Kelly his record was 14-4...
