Roy Helu Jr. to Oakland

Zombie Al Davis still runs the team from a secret room high up in the press box. ROY IS DOOMED!!!

Helu earned a suprising amount of attention and respect as an oft-injured third string running back. He earned a shot at a better situation and contract.

Nobody is entrenched in Oakland. They tend to platoon RBs anyway. I think he'll see more action there.

Good elusiveness, good in the receiving game, and dirt cheap contract. I'm disappointed the Patriots didn't get him at 2 years, $4M, especially after losing Vereen.

Like to see him as a feature back.

Let everyone see what he can produce with multiple opportunities.

I love Helu but I wish he hadn't signed with the Raiders. More playing time is great but the Raiders were dead last in rushing last year so I'm worried he won't have the line in front of him to show what he's truly capable of. Hopefully they'll upgrade that line otherwise at least it's only a 2 year contract. With the right team Helu could be a total stud. Who know's maybe the Raiders are that team. I'm hoping for the best.
