Ya know, I watch these feature videos of each of these different coaches and I find myself being repetitive......damn I really like these guys. They sound smart. They sound like good teachers. They know what they want from their players. Maybe most importantly, all of these guys are effective COMMUNICATORS.

You look back listening to Bo or Beck talk, for example, my god it was nothing like these guys.

Bo would say: yada yada yada, process.......yada yada execution, when you've been coaching football as long as I have.....yada yada....derp, derp at the end of the day, you just gotta derp.

Geezus, seven years of listening to that guy talk, I can't think of one time he made as much sense as any of these other coaches, and these coaches have only been here a few months.

 
I think I heard him say be violent a couple of times and it looks like he was coaching them up to shed blocks. Combined with a more aggressive D, I think we might have something. Cautiously optimistic but very happy after watching the short video.

 
I liked when he told the guy he was thinking too much and it was slowing him down. I think I'm gonna like this defense.

 
Love it. Simple efficiency is going to have these guys playing their fastest and unleashing their athletic ability that is undoubtedly at higher levels with our S&C staff. Very excited to watch these features. Seems like we're going to have a system and an identity on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Should make for clearer analyses.

Yeah, me too. It's hard to judge Riley against Bo since we haven't even seen one down of Riley ball yet. But so far Riley seems like a better CEO. At least, based on the staff he's attracted, he does. I like this guy Bray. And I've liked all the assistant coaches I've see so far. They sure sound good in these little promotional videos, and the puff pieces put out the LJS and OWH. Can't wait to see what kind of a team they field next September. And next October when we get into the B1G schedule.
