They were champions in 1960, beating Southern California 12-11. Champions again in 1964, beating Southern California 6-5. Champions in 1956 as well, beating Ole Miss 13-5.

They made the CWS in 1973 and 1977 as well. They haven't made it to the CWS since the double elimination format in 1988.
