Goofs have to play Michigan State.

After that stinker against Purdue, i dont want to limp in... lets win this series against Illinois and get some momentum.

Oy. At this point, the best we should probably hope for is to come into that win this weekend, make the tourney, and somehow catch fire and win the

Whole.

F'in.

Thing.

This scene is too awesome not to post. Sorry about the profanity... Mods, remove if you must. Just a fantastic scene from a fantastic baseball movie though. And so relevant!

What's the bigger isue that we have right now? That our bats aren't popping at all or that we can't retain a lead to save our life? Oh, wait that second part could have been my cubbies as well.

Yep, one win to clinch Big Ten Tournament spot.
Or a MN loss, which is more likely!
And a Penn State loss - if they sweep Purdue (which is very possible) and we get swept, they are the 8.
I think we have the tie breaker over both MN & Penn St. Penn St. is 3 behind us and MN is 2.
We do have the tiebreaker on MN based on head to head (2-1). With respective sweeps, because Penn State had a game rained out, they would have a record of 9-14 and Nebraska would have a record of 9-15. Penn State would have a better record. They would be #8.
