huskers vs sooners

hey husker fans, wheres the talk about your huskers and the sooners game tonight? pretty close at the half. I sure hope the huskers can play lights out the second half. How about that arena we all know as the mausaleum?

 
Down by 20 with 3 min to go. The past 2 games the second half

has just killed us. Boy does that ring a bell. :bang :bang

we have problems rebounding.....and we need another big man to help take some of the pressure of Maric. It seems like when he's out of the game or he's being shut down we fall apart. I can't believe we got hammered like that.......we had the height advantage down low with Maric and he sucked tonight....We wont win another game if we play like that....well...maybe against colorado cuz they are just awful..

 
im an oklahoma state fan here, rooting on the huskers for one because theyre playing ou but more importantly cause my grandpa was nebraska alumni. I was really hoping you guys would come to norman and wipe them out. i would like to see ou fall further down the ladder of big 12 basketball. how was nebraska projected to finish this year? and how did they lose to ou by so much?

We are a very young team that relys way too much on Maric. If he is not having a good game down low, then the team is going to struggle. We have absolutely no size other than Maric. Anderson is playing our 4 spot and I believe that he is listed at 6'4. OU played us perfectly last night by playing zone and not letting Maric get in the flow of the game. We had to hit jumpers which was the beginning of the end for us. I heard at half-time that we had only made one 2-point field goal in the whole first half.

Colorado beat Iowa St last night so I wouldnt say that is a gimmie.

We go from being surprised about how good we were this season to all of the sudden this.................man it's frustrating!!!! :bang

Guys...first year under a new coach in a school never known for basketball. Give him time. He'll turn it around. If anyone understands this, the Aggies do. A year or two and NU will be a force to be reckoned with.
