34 hours in Nebraska: Inside South Alabama's visit to Big Red country

USA Jags

Walk-on
Good look inside the Jags stay in Lincoln. This was strange:

The Jags are scheduled to have a walk-through at a local high school – they've been told Memorial Stadium is unavailable – but head coach Joey Jones changes the itinerary. Instead of going to the high school, the team conducts its walk-through in an open field beside the hotel parking lot, a decision Jones later says was made due to the potential for espionage.

I wonder why Memorial stadium was unavailable for USA's walkthrough?
I don't think they'd want to do their walkthrough in our stadium. With the potential to have our coaches or players watching. Seems like the walkthrough is something they'd want to do without an audience.

Being at a HS opens you up to high school kids filming and posting bits and pieces to twitter?

I thought that we closed Memorial to walkthroughs for opponents a couple years ago. Maybe I'm wrong???

I don't know where USA stayed, but don't most teams now stay at the Embassy Suites along I-80 in west Omaha?
